Bombesin-like activity. Indistinguishable in potency and in shape of the contraction curve both from litorin and ranatensin in the rat uterus and rat urinary bladder preparations.  Like all bombesins, causes irregular spike-contractions with strong tachyphylaxis on guinea pig ileum - M. Simmaco et al., Peptides 11, 299 (1990).
