Betatrophin Kits Now Available

6 individuals who self-reported diabetes, hypertension or high cholesterol draw blood before and after consumption. Full Length Betatrophin were determined in Plamsa level using Phoenix's RIA Kit (RK-051-60). (Preliminary result only)

1_X = 3.11 ng/ml;

1/2_X = 1.67 ng/ml

1_X = 3.70 ng/ml;

1/2_X = 2.05 ng/ml

Blood was collected in Lavender Vacutainer tubes where 0.6TIU of Aprotinin was added. 29 samples of Plasma were taken 100 ml (1X) or half dilution to 50 ml (1/2X) for regular RIA assay (RK-051-60), the first 20 samples were also tested in serum. The half dilution of plasma/serum still shows levels in the linear range of standard curve.
